BTG Pactual completes a 20,000 sq ft office fit out in 14 weeks with Oktra

BTG Pactual, a global financial firm and leading investment bank in Latin America, needed to expand and refurbish its London office after outgrowing its existing space. The challenge involved a complex, highly technical fit-out requiring new infrastructure to ensure seamless trading operations, all while maintaining a live environment in a historic building. They engaged office fit out and refurbishment specialist Oktra for the consult, design, manage, and build project.

Oktra implemented a significant infrastructure resilience installation, including a 350 KVA standby generator—the first of its kind in the building—to provide 72 hours of backup power. The solution also upgraded the air conditioning with new diffusers and relocated fan coil units to suit the low ceilings. Oktra successfully delivered the 20,000 sq ft project on schedule in just 14 weeks, enabling BTG Pactual's expansion with a new trading floor and staff breakout hub without interrupting their critical trading activities.
