Zeotap, a privacy-first marketing services company, needed a better way to onboard enterprise customers securely in a cookieless future. Before working with Okta, about 10% of accounts were getting locked during onboarding, creating a poor customer experience and consuming significant time from customer success and IT teams. Zeotap also wanted to reduce the heavy developer effort required to build and maintain customer identity integrations.
With Okta and its Inbound Federation capabilities, Zeotap enabled customers to sign in with their existing enterprise credentials and securely connect their own identity providers. Okta also automated user provisioning to the right apps, saving Zeotap about 120 weeks of developer work over a year and 30,000 hours of provisioning time annually, worth about €1.3 million in resource costs. In addition, the solution helped Zeotap provide secure access for 2,500 external users and improved onboarding speed and scalability.
