Merz, a global company operating across aesthetics, therapeutics, and consumer care, needed a modern identity and access management foundation to strengthen security, support GxP compliance, and improve the customer experience. To address this, Merz partnered with Okta and used customer identity capabilities to create a more secure, frictionless portal for users while managing access across a growing digital environment.

Okta implemented a Zero Trust-aligned IAM solution for Merz using Universal Directory, Single Sign-On, Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication, Lifecycle Management, and API Access Management. The result was a single portal for customer access, self-service password resets, and globally deployed MFA, while over 200 apps were connected through the Okta Integration Network and 4,000+ employees across 28 countries were brought onto one platform.
