Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s largest live music company, needed a secure, cloud-based way to give 15,000 employees consistent access to hundreds of applications across devices and locations. Its previous mix of portals was cumbersome, especially for mobile and off-network workers, and made onboarding new employees more difficult. Okta Workforce Identity was chosen to support Live Nation’s all-cloud strategy and simplify access for its global workforce.
Okta implemented Single Sign-On, Lifecycle Management, and the Okta Integration Network to create one secure entry point for apps and streamline user provisioning and deprovisioning. The company was up and running with Okta in a matter of days, with a broader rollout completed in about four to five months. The result was faster onboarding with day-one access, smoother app deployment, improved security for offboarding, and less time spent by IT on password resets and infrastructure management.
