A Okta Case Study
Juniper, a large Australian aged care organization, was struggling with a complex patchwork of identity systems, manual onboarding and offboarding, and weak password security as it expanded its use of cloud tools and remote care services. With 1,950 employees and growing SaaS usage, Juniper needed a more secure, flexible way to manage access for staff working across multiple roles and locations. Okta helped Juniper move toward a centralized identity approach with SSO, MFA, and automated access management.
Okta implemented Okta Customer Identity, Okta Single Sign-On, Okta Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication, Okta Lifecycle Management, Okta Universal Directory, and Okta Workflows to unify identity, automate provisioning, and secure remote access. Juniper went live with Okta and its new ionMy solution in three months, later adding more apps quickly through Okta, including Amazon Chime in about 15 minutes. The impact included easier onboarding/offboarding, improved role-based access, stronger security for remote workers, and a path to bring up to 20 applications into a single portal.
