HubSpot strengthens Identity security through phishing-resistant MFA

HubSpot, the CRM platform company with more than 7,000 employees, needed a modern identity and access management solution to scale onboarding, strengthen security, and replace its older Active Directory-based approach. As phishing and social engineering attacks increased, HubSpot turned to Okta and Okta Identity Engine to better protect users and devices across the organization.

Okta implemented phishing-resistant MFA, FastPass, device trust, and Lifecycle Management to automate access and offboarding while improving Zero Trust controls. The results were significant: 100% of logins to Okta now come from registered devices using phishing-resistant MFA, help desk access provisioning tickets dropped by 80%, access-request tickets were resolved 80% via automation, and HubSpot rolled out phishing-resistant enforcement to all laptops in just 4 months.
