The college wanted to streamline SaaS account management and ensure access was removed promptly when users graduated or left, and it turned to Okta for help with identity and access management.
Okta deployed Customer Identity for authentication, authorization, user management, and Single Sign-On, helping Kingsborough Community College simplify access to tools like Dynamic Forms, Starfish, and ExamSoft. The results were strong: about 10,000 students, faculty, and staff log in through Okta, and the college has reported zero downtime in more than five years, while making student processes much easier and more efficient.
