Cinépolis, the global movie theater chain behind the Club Cinépolis loyalty program, needed to modernize a dated, manual registration process that relied on in-theater staff and made it difficult to prevent duplicate, fraudulent accounts or gather useful customer data. To support a more digital, personalized experience, the company turned to Okta’s Auth0 platform, with help from TEC360, after its own and third-party attempts proved costly and time-consuming.

Okta implemented Auth0 to enable self-service sign-up, secure sign-in, MFA, Progressive Profiling, and attack protection across mobile, desktop, and kiosk channels. The results included a 300% increase in net new loyal customers, 80% faster time to market, 35% cost savings, and a 16% reduction in fraudulent transactions, while also validating 100% of users’ emails and phone numbers.
