A OIA Global Case Study
DeWalt, a leading outdoor footwear and apparel company, faced the challenge of executing a wide-ranging point of purchase program for almost 5,000 retail store displays. These displays needed to arrive at Home Depot and Lowe's stores across the U.S. simultaneously, requiring timely packaging and shipping to meet the retailers' tight deadlines. They engaged vendor OIA Global for a solution involving packaging design, logistics, and warehousing and distribution.
OIA Global provided a comprehensive solution that leveraged its various business segments. Its team created the displays in China, imported apparel from Bangladesh via ocean freight, and its contract logistics team built, packaged, and distributed everything according to precise instructions. The results included considerable improvements in aesthetic appearance, stronger materials for long-term use, and a more efficient design that saved retail floor space. OIA successfully completed the logistics for over 5,750 cases across 6 separate product runs.
