Epson, the computer imaging equipment manufacturer, needed to run a cross-platform mobile campaign across 13 territories to reach two distinct audiences: home electronics consumers and B2B IT decision makers. To support this challenge, Epson and its agency TotalMedia partnered with Ogury, using mobile targeting to identify users with the right affinities and intent for Epson’s projector range.

Ogury used its Active Insights solution to build 26 bespoke targeting matrices across the consumer and B2B audiences, then served ads only to users with the highest relevancy scores. The campaign delivered strong results, with CPA 65% below the campaign average, time-engaged costs 55% lower, and CTRs of 19.37% for B2B users and 20.16% for consumers—about 2x higher than benchmarks. Ogury’s work was later recognized as “Most Effective Mobile Advertising Campaign/Strategy” at The Drum MOMA Awards.
