Lanemark Combustion Engineering, a Warwickshire-based designer and manufacturer of gas-burning systems with around 30 staff and roughly 20 network users, needed proactive IT management to prevent server and SQL downtime and to enable staff to access data remotely. In 2013 they engaged OGL Computer to replace prior reactive providers and to deliver managed IT services including proactive support, remote monitoring and cloud access.

OGL Computer implemented a managed IT package — remote monitoring, cloud products, full server and SQL backups/management, unlimited telephone support, a dedicated account manager, remote support, loan equipment and a four-hour onsite response — and configured user PCs and Microsoft Office. The solution improved operational efficiency, enabled staff to work anywhere with continuous data availability, reduced downtime risk, and now supports Lanemark’s critical servers and 20 network users, helping the business scale with confidence.
