NVC Lighting UK, a Birmingham-based national supplier of lighting with around 102 employees, faced poor stock visibility and relied on legacy systems and manual processes that made it hard to know what stock was available, where it was located, and whether orders were complete. To address these challenges they partnered with OGL Computer to deploy prof.ITplus WMS.

OGL Computer implemented prof.ITplus WMS to enable perpetual stock takes, cycle counting and real-time stock control, cutting the need for disruptive annual stock takes (recovering almost two weeks of trading) and markedly improving stock accuracy. The solution improved picking and despatch accuracy, boosted order fill rates and OTIF, reduced returns and operating costs, and gave managers better data for purchasing and sales decisions — delivering measurable service and margin improvements supported by OGL Computer’s implementation and ongoing expertise.
