Case Study: Nobisco achieves streamlined order and stock management with OGL Computer

A OGL Computer Case Study

Preview of the Nobisco Case Study

Nobisco and OGL’s partnership still going strong after almost two decade

Nobisco, a Birmingham-based supplier founded in 1985 with approximately 40 employees, was operating on paper-based systems and needed a reliable software partner to modernise order processing and stock control. OGL Computer was engaged to replace manual processes with a dedicated order processing and stock management solution alongside an eCommerce platform, plus ongoing training and support.

OGL Computer implemented an integrated system — including order/stock management, a 24/7 eCommerce storefront with stock visibility and multiple payment options, and proactive remote and on-site support — providing a single point of contact for all IT matters. As a result, Nobisco has increased the speed and efficiency of business processes, improved profit margins and sales capability, optimised stock management and reduced overheads; the partnership with OGL Computer has been in place since 1994 and remains central to day-to-day operations.
