The chocolate brand Lacta faced the challenge of re-establishing its historical connection to love for a new, younger generation after discontinuing its tradition of handwritten notes on its wrappers. To make this connection matter online, they engaged the vendor OgilvyOne Worldwide to develop a digital solution.

OgilvyOne Worldwide created an augmented reality app that allowed users to send digital love notes to Facebook friends, which appeared to be written on a Lacta bar when viewed through a phone camera, paired with a web series. The campaign made Lacta's Facebook page the #1 product page in Greece, generated six million video views, and increased message usage by 179%, peaking at a 17-fold increase on Valentine's Day.
