Wipro, a global IT and consulting company, needed to scale up-to-date digital skills across its large workforce as part of a broader digital transformation—ensuring consultants could better serve customers moving to the cloud. The challenge was to supplement traditional training with a platform that would engage employees worldwide and enable rapid, peer-to-peer knowledge sharing across geographies and hierarchies.

Wipro adopted Office 365 Yammer to host social learning groups, crowdsourced Topcoder challenges, and incentive-driven dashboards and analytics. With roughly 100,000 Yammer users and a 40,000-person Talent Transformation group, the program drove faster expertise sharing, higher engagement and innovation, improved customer satisfaction and contract renewals, and measurable gains in productivity and lower delivery costs.
