Top Vietnamese Dairy Company Plans to Go Global by Transforming it Environment

Vinamilk, Vietnam’s largest dairy producer, set out to become a global top-50 dairy and reach USD 3 billion in revenue but found its existing IT infrastructure inadequate for that ambition. An internal review identified three critical gaps — data security and storage, business analytics, and collaboration — and the CIO charged the IT team with finding secure, mobile, and scalable solutions to support rapid growth and international expansion.

Working with Microsoft and SoftwareONE, Vinamilk deployed Microsoft 365 Enterprise (Office 365 E5, EMS, and Windows 10) including Exchange Online, OneDrive, Advanced Threat Protection, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint Online, Yammer, and Microsoft Premier Support. Within 90 days the company gained expanded email and cloud storage, stronger security and cost-effective threat protection, faster analytics with Power BI dashboards, improved remote collaboration and mobility, and higher uptime and support for its global operations.
