Telefónica de España, a global telecommunications company, needed to speed up digital transformation, break down silos, and improve collaboration across 21 countries and four languages. To support this shift, it turned to Office 365, using Yammer as its enterprise social network to help employees communicate more openly, share ideas, and align around company strategy.
Office 365, through Yammer, created a more connected workplace where employees could solve problems, test ideas, and participate in strategy discussions. The results included more than 95,000 employee accounts, over 600 active groups, more than 35,000 messages a month, and organic adoption growing by about 2,000 employees per month for three years, helping Telefónica become more agile, innovative, and competitive.
