Mobile to the core, Irish media group redefines business productivity on the go

Core Media is a Dublin‑headquartered media communications group of 260 employees and Ireland’s largest agency network, serving clients across TV, radio, print and digital. Faced with a rapidly changing digital market and the need to attract and retain talent, the company needed secure, flexible tools that let employees work productively from any device and location.

Core Media standardized on Microsoft Office 365 (including Office 365 ProPlus) and Exchange Online Advanced Threat Protection, and replaced its PBX with Skype for Business to enable BYOD, presence, and videoconferencing. The rollout was fast and cost‑effective—ATP was configured in about 20 minutes for 220 users, detected roughly 350 ransomware attempts per day when attacks surfaced and paid for itself in the first month, while the Skype deployment cut maintenance costs by about €6,000 a year—improving mobility, security, responsiveness and employee satisfaction.
