Flex, a global sketch-to-scale solutions provider with about 200,000 employees across more than 30 countries, needed better ways to share knowledge and coordinate manufacturing, engineering, and supply-chain work across dispersed sites and factory floors. Traditional top-down communications and an aging on-premises SharePoint environment made it difficult to get consistent, real-time information to factory workers and cross-functional teams.

Flex moved to Microsoft Office 365—deploying Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Office 365 ProPlus, OneDrive, Yammer and hybrid integrations—to give employees secure, mobile access to tools, a searchable document management system, and custom apps like an ideation portal.
