Tomball Regional Medical Center, a 350-bed acute care hospital, relied on a dry-erase board and paper schedules that were not remotely accessible and required repetitive manual updates, while Stonecrest Community, a 55+ retirement community, managed dozens of rooms and events with separate monthly spreadsheets that led to wasted time and risk of double bookings.
Implementing Office Tracker replaced boards and spreadsheets with PC-based, remotely accessible scheduling, large-screen displays, timed email alerts and status color-coding. Tomball saved at least an hour a day, reduced errors and paper use, and improved family communications; Stonecrest reported the system was dramatically more time- and cost-effective and eliminated double bookings for daily activities and events.
