Praxisdienst, a leading German and European mail-order company for medical technology, needed to reduce the manual effort involved in maintaining its growing B2B webshop and to improve usability across product lists, category pages, and search results. The shop was built on OXID eSales with OXSEARCH (based on Elasticsearch) and had previously relied on manual sorting and separate recommendation tooling, which became increasingly time-consuming and error-prone as the product range expanded.

ODOSCOPE provided a SaaS solution that automatically individualized product lists, category pages, search results, and cross-sell recommendations using Praxisdienst’s existing data, with easy integration via an ODOSCOPE plugin for Elasticsearch. The result was almost complete shop-wide personalization, lower maintenance costs, reduced bounce rates, higher conversion rates and basket values, and double-digit sales growth for Praxisdienst, as implemented with support from dotfly.
