Villa Lagoon Tile is an Alabama-based maker and distributor of handmade cement tiles with over 300 designs and 60,000 sq. ft. of inventory, serving both US and international clients. Rapid growth exposed the limits of using Google Sheets for inventory and sales: manual updates led to errors and long sales order times, and the company needed a way to sell by square foot while managing stock in units.

Villa Lagoon implemented Odoo (Sales, Inventory, CRM, Accounting and Studio) and built custom features to sell tiles by square foot while tracking inventory by unit. The change cut sales order creation from about 30 minutes to just a few minutes, improved stock visibility and forecasting, optimized warehouse use and shipping times, reduced unnecessary purchases, and positioned the company to scale into larger domestic and international projects.
