Tonbo Imaging Steps Up Its Defense Technology Using Odoo

Tonbo Imaging, a Bangalore-based defense technology startup with about 200 employees and operations in India and Lithuania, develops advanced imaging and night-vision solutions deployed on military and commercial platforms in 25+ countries. As the business grew, manual and cumbersome processes across sales, purchasing, inventory and manufacturing were creating inefficiencies and operational risk, so the company needed a robust, integrated system to automate and streamline workflows.

Tonbo implemented Odoo’s Accounting, Approvals, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchase and Sales apps (serving ~100 users), gaining web and mobile access to manage operations, track products, and automate order-to-delivery processes. The rollout reduced manual intervention, improved visibility and control across functions, sped up operations with strong Odoo support, and set the stage for further expansion by migrating Sales, CRM and HR to the platform to boost productivity and scale.
