Thescon, a 30-employee consulting firm based in Solms, Germany, specializes in pharmaceutical, chemical, biotech and food industry consulting and often advises clients on ERP selection. Because Thescon itself evaluates ERPs for regulated environments, choosing and rapidly rolling out a robust system was strategically important: the company needed a single integrated solution to manage everything from customer requests to invoicing, while reliably recording hours and expenses for accurate billing across milestone, maintenance and service contracts.

Working with Odoo Gold partner IFE, Thescon implemented Odoo Enterprise (CRM, Sales, Project, Timesheet, Expenses, Accounting and more) in six days. Sales orders automatically create projects/tasks, consultants log time via desktop or mobile which feeds “delivered” quantities for invoicing, and expenses are submitted with attachments (even by email); accounting features include bank statement import and automatic reconciliation. The result was a unified end-to-end process, faster invoicing and clearer visibility of ordered vs. delivered work, streamlined expense handling and simplified financial follow-up.
