The Watermark Collection Takes on Europe with Odoo

The Watermark Collection, a Brooklyn-based maker of handcrafted brassware founded in 1976, opened a U.K. base in 2014 to expand into Europe. Before implementing a new system they relied on hundreds of Excel spreadsheets, which caused clerical errors, poor KPI visibility and difficulties handling dual-currency operations (USD purchases vs. GBP sales). They needed a user-friendly, customizable, integrated solution that would fit their workflow and support growth.

They implemented Odoo (CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Invoicing) with tailored customizations—automatic purchase orders triggered from confirmed sales, product images on sales orders, and manual multi-currency handling. The result was consolidated customer data, faster reporting, fewer errors, smooth USD/GBP operations, and an easy, scalable rollout (6 months in production plus 70 consultant hours); user count has already grown from 4 to 7 and the company plans to add more apps.
