Odoo Smoothly Integrates Abitare's Brick-and-Mortar and Online Stores

Abitare Group, a Luxembourg-based holding behind the Abitare Living and Abitare Kids brands, had rapidly expanded across Luxembourg and Spain and invested early in eCommerce and marketplace presence. Their unique gift-list business model and growing number of stores exposed limitations in an outdated ERP: poor front-end/back-end integration, heavy manual work and the urgent need for a scalable, centralized system. Abitare engaged Acsone in October 2015 with a tight three-month deadline to replace the legacy ERP and migrate data by January 1, 2016.

Acsone implemented Odoo (Sales, Purchase, Accounting, Invoicing, POS, Inventory and more), built custom gift-list functionality, integrated with Magento and Lengow, and tailored the multicompany, multi‑language setup. The result is a centralized, synchronized platform running 240+ Odoo modules across 8 companies with 50,000+ products—handling ~32,000 sales orders in 2016, 26,000 POS articles and 350+ active gift lists—enabling better stock control, marketplace connectivity and smooth integration between brick‑and‑mortar and online channels to support continued growth.
