A Odoo Case Study
Maison Dandoy, a family-owned Brussels biscuiterie founded in 1829 and famed for its artisanal speculoos, was growing beyond the capacity of its traditional, paper-based ways of working. With shops, wholesale channels and an online ambition, the company relied on Excel, standalone POS, phone/fax and an inaccessible accounting server, leading to stock inaccuracies, no consolidated reporting and poor operational visibility. They needed an ERP to manage manufacturing, retail, distribution and a worldwide e‑shop.
Working with Odoo partner Niboo, Maison Dandoy implemented an on‑premise Odoo suite (CRM, Sales, Accounting, E‑shop, Inventory, Purchasing, Manufacturing, POS, Shops, Dashboard) from 2017–2019. The rollout automated artisanal manufacturing, integrated POS with accounting, and centralized all data, delivering full product traceability, major time savings on daily sales reconciliation, clearer production reporting and stronger cross‑department visibility — outcomes that have supported rapid growth and a planned migration to Odoo v13.
