Toyota Material Handling France, part of Toyota Industries Corporation, manufactures and sells electric and IC-powered forklifts across Europe and also imports and modifies trucks from Japan, China and the US. After group restructuring they relied on a fragile custom configurator and lacked a proper ERP, which made order handling, production planning and cross‑unit procurement slow and risky—so they needed a low‑risk, fast‑payback solution to manage highly customizable trucks (≈40% of revenue).

Working with partner Smile, they implemented Odoo modules (Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchase, Accounting, CRM) for 10 users and went live within six months.
