How the Portuguese Road Authority manages Portugal's road infrastructure

Estradas de Portugal S.A. (Portuguese Road Authority) is the government body responsible for financing, maintaining and expanding Portugal’s road network. Facing fragmented asset records and manual processes, the authority needed an integrated Asset Management System to optimize workflows, build a digital archive for tangible and intangible assets, and synchronize records with its existing Oracle EBS financial system.

Odoo partner ThinkOpen implemented a customized Odoo solution—using Assets, Warehouse, Invoicing and Accounting modules—delivering process modelling and automation, migration of historical data (pre-1950 onward) and full integration with Oracle EBS. The project achieved streamlined asset management, a centralized digital archive, low CAPEX/OPEX, strong ROI and high stakeholder satisfaction.
