How EXKI manages its suppliers, orders and inventory of 70 restaurants with Odoo

EXKI is a Belgian fast-growing chain of 70 restaurants across Europe and the US, serving fresh, natural and often organic food under the motto “Nature’s Kitchen.” Facing rapid expansion, EXKI needed a more robust, integrated system than their proprietary tool, because each restaurant places daily orders for highly perishable products and requires a stress‑resistant supply chain and cross-department data integration.

EXKI migrated from Odoo V6 to V8, implementing Restaurants, Products, Purchase & Sales Pricelists, Procurement and WMS modules (with HR work planned). Today 70 sites and 140 users—including suppliers with system access—manage about 1,000 purchases per day automatically sent to 20 suppliers. The integrated Odoo setup stabilized ordering, improved supplier collaboration and increased user engagement, driving new feature development across the company.
