EPC Power Corp., a Poway, California–based manufacturer of high-density power conversion and storage equipment, faced growing pains from using QuickBooks and spreadsheets to manage inventory, sales, and accounting. EPC chose Odoo for its cost-effective, modular ERP and rolled it out via Quickstart under Manufacturing Engineer Emily Phan’s leadership; the system went live in February 2018 and was fully integrated within six months. Using Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting and other apps (with light Studio customizations), EPC streamlined inventory tracking, automated invoicing, unified accounting, reduced errors and saved time—improvements that supported growth, operational clarity, and customer wins such as work with Lockheed Martin.
