1000 miles is a Hong Kong–based full-service manufacturing and trading company that designs, develops and produces gift concepts from its Yiwu facility, delivering over 6,700 projects to date. Facing fierce competition in China’s manufacturing market, the company needed tighter operational control and a unified system to manage product development, customer projects, production, trade-show leads and finance while keeping deliveries on time.

They implemented an on‑premise Odoo solution with four custom apps (Product Development, Projects, Production, Trade Easy) plus Accounting to handle BOMs, RFQs, samples, purchase and sales orders, inventory, quality, barcode-enabled trade shows and automated accounting. The result was company‑wide visibility and process control, faster project-to-order conversion, simpler cash and invoicing management, no lost stock or leads, and more capacity to focus on product quality and brand growth.
