ENGIE, one of the world’s largest energy companies and the market leader in Belgium, modernized customer-facing operations by adopting Salesforce (including Vlocity and Marketing Cloud) across B2C, B2B and partner channels. Moving from on‑prem SAP to cloud raised concerns about maintaining on‑prem levels of control, data protection and GDPR compliance, so ENGIE selected Odaseva to deliver an enterprise‑grade backup and restore solution.

Odaseva implemented Backup and Restore with Managed Backup Services and a custom backup plan, backing up more than 45 billion records across 1,000+ objects since 2019 while consuming only 5.5% of ENGIE’s API call limit. Odaseva also provided sandbox seeding and anonymization, simplified complex Salesforce data management, enabled scalable, fully customized backups and strengthened continuity and recovery — outcomes ENGIE cites as future‑ready and recommends.
