The International Transportation Company, a very large global transport enterprise, was overwhelmed by Salesforce data and files—processing about 400,000 emails daily, complex case hierarchies with up to 10,000 child records, and approaching Salesforce’s 100 million file limit—creating data skew, log issues, and an urgent need to reduce volume quickly. Odaseva implemented its Enterprise Data Platform with Data Archiving (alongside Backup & Restore, Restore Readiness Audits, Sandbox Anonymization and Expert Services), archiving files off-platform while keeping them accessible via an Odaseva component. Odaseva now backs up 3.9 TB across 2,500 objects and protects 1.9 billion records while using just 6.18% of BULK API and 1.3% of REST API calls. As a result, the company avoided major rework or mass deletions, scaled its Salesforce deployment globally, reduced logs, resolved data skew, and stayed well under Salesforce limits.
