Flory Industries, a manufacturer of nut-harvesting equipment, needed a way to program robotic welding for components and mainframes on a Lincoln Electric Welding Cell with a Fanuc robot. They used OCTOPUZ robot programming software to help manage the welding workflow and part complexity.

With OCTOPUZ, Flory Industries was able to program tack welds first and then complete fill arc weld routines, while also simulating and coordinating external axes such as a headstock-tailstock positioner. OCTOPUZ also enabled easy creation of weave and stitch welds with constant push angles, improving their ability to reach all areas of the part and streamline welding programming.
