Spindlemedia deploys 10x faster with the Octopus Kubernetes agent

Spindlemedia, a provider of cloud-based tax collection software, struggled with slow, manual on‑premises deployments that required custom scripts for each customer and left them only able to deploy once a year. To modernize and speed up delivery they adopted Octopus Deploy, using features like tenanted deployments, the Kubernetes agent, Runbooks, and Octopus Cloud to manage complex, customer‑specific releases.

Octopus Deploy automated Spindlemedia’s pipeline and supported a migration to Kubernetes while allowing mixed on‑prem and cloud deployments; tenanted deployments and Runbooks made version tracking and routine maintenance straightforward. As a result, deployments went from annual to weekly (and can run many times per day), and Kubernetes deployments are up to 10× faster with the Octopus Kubernetes agent, improving security, onboarding, and the ability to deliver more frequent updates to customers.
