How DriveCentric doubled its annual deployments with Octopus

DriveCentric, a Missouri-based SaaS provider of CRM, AI, and conversational engagement tools for the automotive industry, needed to modernize its deployment process to reduce risk and accelerate time to market. Before 2018 their deployments were manual, slow, and error-prone across diverse workloads (web apps, Windows services, containers, AWS Lambdas); they selected Octopus Deploy to automate and standardize their CI/CD pipeline, using Octopus Deploy’s CD capabilities and the Octopus CLI integrated with GitHub Actions.

Using Octopus Deploy, DriveCentric automated deployments across its portfolio, enforcing lifecycles, visibility, and quality gates while running releases from GitHub Actions with the Octopus CLI and features like auto release promotion and runbooks. The result was fewer errors and much faster, repeatable releases — DriveCentric nearly doubled its yearly production releases to about 500 in 2021 (with similar growth projected for 2022) and reported a nearly flawless success rate for Octopus Deploy–driven deployments.
