Guestline saves 2,000 hours per release using Tenants in Octopus

Access Hospitality used Octopus Deploy to modernize a manual, 20-year-old EPOS software deployment process. The hospitality company was spending huge amounts of time copying updates onto desktops and tablets by hand, which created inconsistent versions across more than 800 hotel customers and made regular releases impractical.

With Octopus Deploy, Access Hospitality implemented tenanted deployments, tag sets, variable sets, step templates, and API-driven scheduling to automate updates across customers and sites on both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The result was faster, consistent releases twice a month, around 100 customer deployments at a time, and a savings of about 2,000 person-hours per release, with the rollout now scaling to thousands of tentacles across its customer base.
