Gaming Innovation Group’s change failure rate is almost non-existent with Octopus

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), a leading iGaming technology company, needed to simplify and automate deployments across many customers with different regulations, timezones, and configurations. Their manual deployment processes were error-prone and lacked visibility, auditability, and repeatability, so GiG adopted Octopus Deploy’s CD orchestration—using features like tenanted deployments, secrets management, runbooks, and variable sets—to standardize and secure their pipeline.

Octopus Deploy integrated with GiG’s existing stack (Bitbucket, TeamCity, Kubernetes) to parameterize and manage customer-specific deployments, provide role-based access control, and make deployments repeatable via reusable step templates. As a result, GiG moved from manual scripts to automated, repeatable processes, can deploy multiple times per day (including fast hotfixes), achieved an almost non-existent change failure rate, and improved auditing and compliance visibility.
