Brex, a growing fintech originally known as the “corporate card for startups,” faced a scalability problem: manual, error-prone review and analysis of bank statements as its product set and operational needs expanded. To address this, Brex partnered with Ocrolus to provide back-end digitization of Bank Statements (and later Deposited Checks) and integrated the Ocrolus API into its workflows.
Ocrolus digitizes documents in minutes, scales up or down with volume, and replaced Brex’s manual data review with reliable, automated extraction—reducing inaccuracies and operational burden while improving the end-customer experience. By implementing Ocrolus, Brex was able to scale operations more efficiently and accelerate processing of bank statements and deposited checks.
