Telecommunication and Internet Service Providing Company, a global telecom and ISP with 10,000+ employees, needed to assess and benchmark the quality of its house contact database against a third-party provider. They engaged Oceanos to evaluate whether externally sourced contacts could improve marketing outreach and data reliability.
Oceanos built a custom database aligned to the client’s target account list, sourcing records from third-party providers and applying email verification, lite-phone verification and social media screening; MECLABS then analyzed both datasets. Oceanos’ contacts outperformed the client’s house data by 51% for outbound calling, 33% for email deliverability, and showed 81% name accuracy versus 56% for the house data—MECLABS reported with 95% confidence that the Oceanos list had superior name and phone accuracy and recommended it for future purchases.
