Maersk, the global container logistics leader, faced falling subscription rates, unclear unsubscription causes under GDPR, limited coverage of decision‑makers, and lower-than-desired engagement across a large subscriber base. OceanFrogs was brought in to create a Customer 360° view and a customer data platform (CDP) using time‑series analysis, machine learning and data‑enrichment to better understand customer behavior and guide digital marketing and sales funnel improvements.
OceanFrogs consolidated siloed data, de‑duplicated contacts, built a knowledge graph and customer data lake, and applied RFM and classification models plus COVID‑period comparisons to segment audiences, identify new decision‑makers and surface customers for reactivation. As a result, the data lake/CDP is production‑ready, account coverage increased dramatically (especially in target geographies), campaign performance improved when content was better targeted, and Maersk now has actionable insights to measure ROI and re‑engage impacted customers — all delivered by OceanFrogs.
