Synergee Fitness, a leading online retailer of home fitness equipment, wanted to bring the strong shopping experience from its Amazon Marketplace business to its Shopify Plus store. Its main challenge was that mobile visitors spent less time on site and generated less revenue per visit than desktop shoppers, even though mobile traffic was nearly twice as high. Vendor Obviyo, using its Recommend product, was brought in to help improve mobile engagement and conversions.
Obviyo implemented half a dozen Growth Bots across Synergee Fitness’s site, combining editorial content with personalized product recommendations powered by Amazon-style AI. In just four weeks, mobile time on site increased 236% from 153 seconds to 554 seconds, and revenue per visit rose 603% from $3.59 to $17.87. Synergee Fitness said the rollout was quick and the support was helpful, while the personalized discovery experience significantly improved mobile performance.
