The Yale University School of Medicine, led by Dr. Dana Small, needed to urgently launch research into the link between COVID-19 and loss of smell but lacked immediate funding and a suitable application for at-home self-testing. ObjectSharp, along with its partner CentriLogic, provided pro bono work to build a new software app using Microsoft Blazor to address this critical challenge.

ObjectSharp implemented a solution using Blazor to rapidly develop and host the application, enabling the research to begin months ahead of schedule. The vendor's support, which included a $45,000 donation, was key to fast-starting the project, providing a tool to help scientifically confirm if loss of smell could be an early indicator of COVID-19 infection.
