The Halifax Port Authority faced a challenge with its PortControl system, which relied on error-prone and delayed data from numerous legacy systems. This required extensive manual intervention to correct information before it could be used by stakeholders. The port authority enlisted ObjectSharp to help develop and implement a new cloud-based data strategy to address this.

ObjectSharp's consultants began by analyzing the current data state and then created a vision for a future state centered on a new cloud-first data platform, the HPA Integration Hub. They developed a multi-phase implementation plan based on a Microsoft Azure reference architecture, which was approved by the HPA executive team.
