Case Study: Fleet Air Arm improves compliance and operational visibility with Objective ECM

A Objective Corporation Case Study

Preview of the Fleet Air Arm Case Study

The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Fleet Air Arm (FAA) and Objective ECM improve operational visibility and accountability

The Royal Australian Navy’s Fleet Air Arm needed a better way to manage information, improve auditability, and maintain compliance with new safety and airworthiness regulations. Staff were relying on paper files, scanned documents, and email as informal filing systems, which made it hard for leaders to see who was doing what, track workloads, and confidently support operational decisions. Objective Corporation provided Objective ECM to help the Fleet Air Arm transform its records and workflow processes.

Objective Corporation implemented digital workflows for travel tasking, correspondence, task tracking, and approvals, replacing paper-based processes with a centralised electronic system. More than 4,000 workflows were created, over 800 people were trained in less than six months, and processing time was reduced by around 10 percent. The Fleet Air Arm also gained stronger visibility, better reporting, and a full audit trail, and Objective ECM became the standard tool for approvals and daily operations.
