NSW Roads and Maritime Services (RMS), now part of Transport for NSW, needed a better way to manage growing heavy vehicle traffic while maintaining safety and compliance without increasing disruption or staffing needs. Objective Corporation partnered with RMS to improve the Heavy Vehicle Safety Screen Program using risk-based data and a custom-built screening solution.

Objective Corporation implemented automated, risk-based heavy vehicle screening across NSW, using data from sensors, cameras, weight and height systems, and vehicle compliance history to target higher-risk vehicles. The result was faster, more efficient screening delivered on time and on budget, less manual intervention for compliant operators, improved traffic flow, and better use of enforcement resources to achieve stronger safety outcomes.
