The New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) needed to replace a fragmented set of legacy fisheries systems created after its 2012 merger, which forced staff to switch between systems, re-enter data multiple times, and rely on manual cross-checking. Objective Corporation provided Objective RegWorks to give MPI a single access point and a unified source of truth for fisheries compliance data, inspections, intelligence, and enforcement activities.

Objective Corporation implemented Objective RegWorks as the internal FOCUS system, consolidating more than 10 years of records from multiple systems into one secure repository. The new platform streamlined compliance workflows, reduced duplication and administrative effort, supported officer safety monitoring, and improved intelligence use for long-term planning; it was adopted by 240 fisheries officers and recorded more than 2,400 inspections in its first month.
