Welsh Government needed a fast, secure way to coordinate and share sensitive information with 22 local authorities, suppliers and distributors during COVID-19 to help deliver shielding citizens’ food parcels. Having already used Objective Connect since 2015, the team needed a solution that could quickly handle large volumes of personal data and support rapid changes as the situation evolved.

Objective Corporation’s Objective Connect was used to set up a secure data exchange workspace in about 30 minutes, enabling Welsh Government to consolidate daily food parcel orders, send them to suppliers, receive delivery updates, and respond to issues in one place. Objective Corporation also integrated the process with Objective ECM to reduce back-office administration, supporting the secure handling of around 14,000 food orders a day across the network.
