Structuremode, an engineering firm, designed a pure tensegrity pavilion for the Vision London event. Their challenge was to engineer a lightweight, scalable fabric roof suspended by a floating compression system. They utilized software from Oasys, specifically the GSA Suite, for this innovative project.

Oasys provided the solution through its GSA software, which was used to develop the design. The software's form-finding engine was instrumental for the initial geometric optimization, and its static non-linear analysis tested the fabric's performance under stress. The result was a successful 7-meter diameter pavilion that demonstrated the potential for significant material savings and more artistic design in future large-scale structures like sports stadia.
